These are some of the questions that training answers. During training we use generically designed materials which guide you through the capabilities of your solution.
Why is training important, when I just want to start using the product I purchased?
Knowing what it does and how it accomplishes various tasks as well as it's limitations, will enable you to get the most from your solution. Equipped with this basic knowledge, you will then be able to make informed implementation decisions. If the training phase is skipped, we find the focus becomes setting up the system, cleaning up data, and accomplishing the needed task at hand. The process degenerated into making the new product perform like the old one. At the end of the day, we have not learned what the new product can do. |
